Back to School

Well, I started back part time today. I'll be working Tuesdays-Thursdays from 8-11 at my same school. I'll be doing guided reading groups for 2nd graders that are below level in reading. I'm very excited about this part time teaching opportunity. Part time in teaching doesn't come around too often!
I was sad to leave Finn though. :( I got a little teary on my drive from the sitters house up to school. The sitter is great though! She's in the neighborhood by my school and keeps other teacher's kids from my school. She said he was a very good baby for his first day. And for me, those 3 hours up at work flew by.
Getting up at 6 is also hard for me. For those of you that know me well, I'm NOT a morning person (although I have gotten better thanks to a certain little guy!). Finn was still sound asleep when I woke him this morning. He didn't want to get up. I hope waking him early for 3 days of the week won't make him start waking up at that time the other days too. Momma needs her sleep!
