5 Months

Man are things changing! Finn continues to amaze us with new things each day. He's started babbling and laughing a lot more. He also has started the "night crawl" in his crib at night. The first night it scared the you know what out of me. I went in to wake him up before work on Thursday morning and he was in the far corner of his crib, on his side with the sleep positioner on top of him and his face was an inch from his bumper. I immediately yanked his leg and turned him on his back. Yikes! So last night we took off the bumper and did without the sleep positioner. I got up about 5 times to check on him and each time he was in a different spot in his crib. He's our little wiggle worm! Tonight we're trying a different sleep positioner that we have so we'll see if it works better.
Finn is also really starting to notice and look at things. When I'm holding him, he'll completely twist his torso and head around to look at something and see what's going on.
He's also getting better at napping. He's pretty much taking a 45 min - 1 1/2 hr. morning nap and a 1-3 hour afternoon nap. He'll sometimes take an evening cat nap as well. Bedtime is usually between 8 and 8:30 which is nice having the evenings to ourselves.
No doctor's appointment this month so no new stats. I did step on the scale with him the other night and he weighed in at around 12 1/2 lbs. I'm not telling what I weighed in at :).
He's also started rolling over back to tummy (for Pace at least - I haven't seen it yet.)
Life's great! We're so lucky and blessed to have little Finny!
